We arrived at our summer slip in South Port Marine, South Portland, ME on May 3rd! After crossing our wake in NYC, we decided to make way while the weather cooperated, especially as we looked at the long-range forecasts of waves, wind and rain. We've started the process of transferring from the boat back home and will make a few more trips back to ME as we get Emilie B in tiptop shape after a safe and comfortable year aboard. For now, we are enjoying seeing old friends and family, taking long showers and enjoying some extra space. We plan to spend the summer cruising around the coast of Maine and reflecting on our epic adventure. We are so grateful for all your support and encouragement over the past year. We are happy you found our adventure interesting and if you are inspired to do "The Loop", we would be more than happy to offer our insights.
Note from David: Linda gets all the credit for thoroughly and thoughtfully documenting our trip. If it had been left up to me there would have been eight pictures total. Maybe nine. And no cat pictures.
