We did it!!

We crossed our wake in NYC, finishing our loop on April 24th, 330 days after we started. We still have a few hundred miles to go to get Emilie B to her slip in Portland, Maine. It's been an incredible adventure; we'll share more once we get home and have some time to reflect.  We decided to make the best of a break in the weather and go overnight from Cape May, NJ to NYC, which cut a couple of days off our last leg. It looks like we will be waiting out winds and waves for a few extra days in Long Island Sound, so not sure when we'll get back home, but it won't be long. Celebrating our accomplishment! We expect the next couple of weeks will bring us close to crossing our wake in NYC, depending on how the winds blow. Norfolk is the city of Mermaids - Emilie B at Waterside Marina Travelling the ICW Tide swings are 6 feet in this area In some areas of the ICW, there are limited places to spend the night, this anchorage is adjacent to Camp LeJeune.  Ended up with 12 boats, the one in green has gone aground, but will reposition once the tide comes up. The one in red ended up dragging its anchor and running into us in the night. Not fun for anyone, luc...
