Transitions

It seemed appropriate to close out 2025 with one more post from Emilie B.

Since returning in May to our home in NH, we have been catching up with family and friends and thinking about future adventures. We have been excited by the number of people who have told us how much they enjoyed following our year on the Loop. It was fun to share with all of you!

As we thought about the future, we made the decision to sell Emilie B, which happened in late summer. She was the perfect boat for us, kept us safe and supported us flawlessly for 7600 miles. Our experience on Emilie B opened our eyes to the world on the water. Another boat is probably in our future.

With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to Kyra in October. We know she loved spending her 18th year with us on Emilie B and we miss her every day.

We are looking forward to 2026, wishing you all a year filled with hope, happiness and kindness.

Signing off from the Emilie B - Linda, David and Kyra (in our hearts)
