Returning To The Loop

Boat time seems to have its own cadence; it is a slower pace but the constant moving makes the days pass quickly. All our planning is done in "day" increments which led to me calculate how many days had we been "off the loop". I was surprised to find it had been 54. We did do quite a bit of traveling in those 54 days (including our trip home to NH), but we are very happy to get back on the route and looking forward to our next big milestone of entering the Gulf of Mexico. Not too many pictures for this post as it was retracing our steps until we turned onto Yellow Creek near Iuka, MS (our 14th state).

Goodbye to the Smoky Mountains

Passed lots of boat and engine companies - this looks like a model being released in 2025

Another glorious morning as we leave Lenoir City

When you can't decide what boat to get :)

Obviously a favorite spot for some type of bird

You see flocks of these coots everywhere - 100s together at a time

We've seen these ships a couple of times, they were tied up to the same dock as us in Scottsboro, AL
